DMTF and MIPI Alliance have agreed to collaborate on DMTF’s Security Protocol and Data Model (SPDM) standards. MIPI will evaluate and provide feedback on SPDM standards and use cases applicable to devices, which potentially could support MIPI security specifications.
This additional focus builds upon the previous work register. The two organizations will continue to collaborate on extensions to DMTF’s Platform Management Components Intercommunication (PMCI) standards, including Management Component Transport Protocol (MCTP) over I3C binding.
