Attending Meetings at APTS

• Keynotes and training are open to any attendee (registered for APTS).
• DMTF and SNIA WG meetings are open to any employee of a member company of the DMTF or SNIA, respectively.
• Members of Alliance Partners and Academic Alliance members may attend the working bodies specified in their work register. As courtesy, please identify yourself to the chair.
• Forums are open only to employee of a member company of the Forum (and invited guests).
• TC and Board meetings are only open to designated representatives (board members, TC WG/Forum chairs, etc.) and invited guests (these meetings are marked private/closed). An asterisk (*) next to a meeting title means it is a closed/private meeting.

Keynote Abstracts

• PICMG - The introduction of cloud computing and big data analytics has been a transformative force within the computing industry. While adoption of these technologies in the IT realm has been swift, other markets, such as industrial automation are just now investigating deployment. This keynote will provide an overview of the Industrial Computing space with regards current market and technology trends. Specific needs related to Industrial Internet of Things will be presented in order to provide insight into the evolving role of standardization.
• OCP – “Open Compute Project Overiew” - An overview of OCP and their projects. Discuss the relationship between OCP and various BMC providers and open source communities. Also cover the creating of OCP Profiles that describe the requisite Redfish properties that will be recommended for future product contributions.
• SNIA - NVMe is a standard for solid state devices and systems that is gaining popularity due to it’s more efficient interface leveraging the PCIe standard and tracking it’s improving speeds across generations. Redfish is a popular standard for datacenter management that is seeing increasing adoption by both Enterprises and Hyperscalers.
  This talk will preview some work across multiple organizations that enables scale out management of NVMe Drives using DMTF Redfish and SNIA Swordfish.
