  • DMTF Alliance Partners and Academic Alliance may attend at the discretion of the chair of the DMTF working bodies. Please contact the appropriate chair.
  • Forums are open only to employee of a member company of the Forum (and invited guests).
  • TC and Board meetings are only open to designated representatives (board members, TC WG/Forum chairs, etc.) and invited guests (these meetings are marked private/closed).
  • An asterisk (*) next to a meeting title means it is a closed/private meeting.

Keynote Abstracts

  • SNIA Alliance- A growing trend in the market is capacity of data. This data growth is creating challenges within modern storage infrastructures and a new way to think of data is needed. The SNIA Computational Storage TWG was formed in October of 2018 to address this opportunity for the Storage industry to use innovative technologies that bring computational capabilities closer to or within the storage device. The goal of the TWG is to develop an architecture and set of definitions that allow for common communication about the problem set as well as a standardized interface between the Computational Storage device and host or peer devices. Ultimately the TWG will drive standardization of the necessary Computational Storage interfaces across the industry, contribute to and drive the development of software necessary to enable the usages, and promote the education of the industry regarding Computational Storage.
This session will provide an overview of Computational Storage, the focus areas of the TWG, and the opportunities for engagement with the rest of the industry in this space.
  • DMTF- In today’s security landscape, infrastructure security is becoming increasingly important. Most security protocols and their solutions focus on securing the cloud and network to prevent remote based attack. Recent trends of the past two years have indicated that physical or infrastructure security is equally important. Please come see how Security Protocol and Data Model (SPDM) helps protect the infrastructure.
  • HDBaseT Alliance- The HDBaseT Alliance was established in 2010 to promote and advance the HDBaseT technology. Since its introduction, the HDBaseT standard has revolutionized multimedia connectivity, addressing the needs of several markets. The cornerstone of the technology is the converged and simultaneous delivery of uncompressed ultra-high-definition digital video and audio, Ethernet, USB, control signals, and power over a single cable. HDBaseT is optimized for different markets, addressing the specific needs of such sectors as audiovisual, automotive, industrial PCs, consumer electronics and more.
This session will provide an overview of HDBaseT technology, standard, and the areas for cross-organizational collaboration with the PICMG.
