Microsoft Management Summit 2009

April 27 - May 1, 2009

DMTF is proud to again sponsor the 2009 Microsoft Management Summit. This year the topics will focus on how integrated solutions can help to lower costs and increase efficiency while maximizing availability.  In this tenth-anniversary year, MMS 2009 will be bigger and better than ever. In addition to executive keynotes, Microsoft experts and industry leaders will present more than 100 technical sessions, all packed with demos. MMS 2009 will feature more than 9,000 Hands-on Lab places during the week, most led by experts providing a guided tour of the latest technologies.

MMS 2009 is divided into the following areas:

  • Physical, Virtual, Powerful:
The theme of this year’s Microsoft Management Summit is Physical – Virtual - Powerful, reflecting how integrated management of both physical and virtual environments, across the datacenter and on the desktop, can lead to powerful yet cost-effective solutions.
  • Learn from the Experts:
The sessions at MMS 2009 will again be presented by the top experts in the Windows IT Management. Staff from the Microsoft product teams, industry experts and consults as well as other members of the IT community will provide solutions and advice based on their own experience.
  • Hands-on-labs
Hands-on Labs return with even more topics in 2009 with a wide range of self-paced and instructor-led lab topics, allowing attendees to try out a variety of products, solutions and technologies live.
