PORTLAND, Ore. – July 27, 2017 – The Distributed Management Task Force, Inc. (DMTF) today announced an alliance with the Open Data Center Committee (ODCC), based in Beijing, China, to ensure DMTF and ODCC standards are coordinated and aligned.
With its Scorpio standards, ODCC provides specifications for multi-node servers and contributes to building China's open data center, promoting the development of infrastructure standardization. The groups will collaborate to align this work with DMTF’s Redfish®, an open industry standard specification and schema that helps enable simple, secure and interoperable management of modern scalable platform hardware. ODCC will also participate in DMTF’s System Management BIOS (SMBIOS), the premier standard for delivering management information via system firmware.
