The SVM'11 Workshop took place during the 7th International Conference on Network and Service Management in the historic building of the Paris Descartes University, in the heart of the renowned Quartier Latin in Paris, France. |
SVM 2011 held a poster session on Monday evening, during the CNSM welcoming reception. Presentations from the SVM 2011 main session and the SVM 2011 poster session are available on our Web site.
Social Event
This year's social event was the Paris Illuminations tour provided by Bateaux Parisiens. It was a dinner cruise on the river Seine.
Congratulations to SVM 2011's Best Paper Award Winners
The Distributed Management Task Force would like to congratulate the winners of the Best Paper Award for the 5th International DMTF Academic Alliance workshop on Systems and Virtualization Management: Standards and the Cloud.
The award goes to Vitalian A. Danciu, Nils Gentschen Felde, Michael Kasch, and Martin G. Metzker, authors of the paper titled, "Bottom-up harmonisation of management attributes describing hypervisors and virtual machines". This paper was well written and showed depth and knowledge on their topic. To read their paper, please visit the IEEE Proceedings Web site.
